Couple more added above, Tennessee to host Butler (Dec. 14), travel to NC State (date TBD).

A footnote: NC State winning in Knoxville last season was one of the three key wins the Wolfpack recorded away from home (also @ Pitt, vs. Syracuse) that snuck them into the NCAA tourney field.

ACC/Big Ten Challenge games now added.

To date, Illinois, Michigan State, the Gophers, and Rutgers are the only Big Ten schools without a known Power 6 or other "notable" nonconference opponent on their home schedule.

Mississippi State/Oregon State begin a home and home in December, added above.

JP Macura and Xavier to play @ Mizzou on Dec. 22 or 23, added above.

South Carolina completing back end of home and home with Baylor, also have their annual rivalry game (Clemson) in Columbia. Added above.

Some other games I have heard that aren't on the list yet:

-Auburn at Colorado
-Arkansas at Clemson
-Arkansas at SMU
-Florida at Florida State
-NC State at Missouri
-San Diego State at Washington
-Texas Tech at LSU

Also of note, the Wisconsin at Cal game will be on Dec. 22. I also know that Arizona State plays at Marquette on Dec. 16 and at Texas A&M on Dec. 6. UNLV at Arizona State will be on Dec. 3. I also believe the UNLV at Kansas game is on Jan. 4. The SMU at Gonzaga game will be on Nov. 17 as part of the ESPN 24 hour marathon.

Thanks. Where did you see the date of the SMU-Gonzaga game? The Nov. 17 date would appear to conflict with Gonzaga's 1st- and 2nd-round games in the NIT Season Tip-Off.

I saw it on the SMU men's basketball Twitter account. Maybe Gonzaga will start the NIT Season Tip-Off the next day and just play three games in three days.

I suppose that's a possibility, though it would be rather unusual. Makes me wonder if Gonzaga might bail out of the NIT.

Confirmed or rumored? I know at least a couple of these are the back end of a home and home.

All of them except the Auburn at Colorado game are the back ends of home and homes. Auburn-Colorado is confirmed by an al.com article quoting Bruce Pearl.

Xavier @ Cincinnati set for Feb. 18, rivalry moves back to home courts.

Texas, Arizona, and Kansas have released their 2014-15 nonconference schedules (1st round exempt tournament matchups TBD). Notable games on home courts noted above.

Gonzaga at UCLA will be on Dec. 13 and UCLA at Alabama will be on Dec. 28. I believe that Oklahoma State is playing at Memphis this year in a return game. Georgia plays at Georgia Tech and also at Kansas State on Dec. 31. Colorado is also playing at Georgia.

I sense a common theme here. All these home-and-homes being announced or continued, but so far none of them involve Minnesota.

Stanford-Northwestern added above. Wildcats now hosting or playing true road games vs. four Power 6 opponents.

Florida State and Mississippi State will begin a home and home on Jan. 2 in Starkville. Also, Arkansas at Clemson will be Dec. 7, and Utah at BYU will be Dec. 10. Xavier and Wake Forest will not meet this year.

Should home-and-home with Tulsa interest the Gophers?

Evidently new Tulsa head coach Frank Haith is looking for a home-and-home vs. a high major. Just curious, absent any other possibilities, if you were Richard Pitino would you schedule a home-and home with Tulsa, a NCAA participant last season with a solid basketball tradition, and now playing in the American Athletic Conference (AAC)? Or do you think the Gophers should be "above" scheduling a straight-up home-and home with a AAC program absent the name UConn, Cincinnati, or Memphis?

Tulsa will play two of Auburn/Oregon State/Oklahoma State in Las Vegas, as well as Wichita State, Oklahoma, and Creighton, so the Golden Hurricane's SOS should end up being pretty solid. ... it would more likely help than hinder the Gophers' nonconference SOS. With the ACC Challenge game on the road this season, I'm assuming Pitino would only consider this if the first game is in Minneapolis. Might be a pretty good fit for that pre-Christmas (Dec. 19) schedule opening?

Georgia at Georgia Tech will be on Nov. 14. Colorado at Georgia will be on Dec. 7. Also, Oklahoma State at Memphis is scheduled for Dec. 13.

UTEP releases nonconference sked, will host a pair (Arizona, Wazzu) of Pac 12 opponents.

Oklahoma releases nonconference sked, Mizzou (SEC/Big XII Challenge) only notable opponent coming to Norman.

ODU releases nonconference sked

Monarchs will host Shaka Havoc, also open with LSU (Nov. 21) @ the Paradise Jam.
