Well that's interesting. Hasn't he been among the national leaders in blocks the last couple seasons?

Not going well for Lav. He's losing quality players left and right.

James Michael McAdoo declares for the draft. #60 on the big board. So you forgo your senior season to maybe be the last pick of the draft?

His Rosa Parks essay got a B- and he was furious about it.

Pookie Powell is transferring from Memphis
Update and apparently he changed his mind.

Brian Williams is transferring from Oklahoma State. The 6'5" reserve guard is a grad transfer.

If Parker returns to Duke, Coach K will have over signed, meaning someone would have to transfer.

Cole Huff from Nevada is an interesting transfer to keep an eye on. Nevada has prohibited him from transferring to almost all west coast schools, and anyone that they play. 6'8" forward with great range and nice touch. Most likely will have to sit out a year.

Sam Dekker returning to school next season. I hope he does awful and his draft stock goes down the drain!

Tariq Owens asked out of his LOI to Ohio a few days ago. He's a PF type who has gotten bigger/stronger this year and would have a ton of interest if he hits the open market. I am sure Saul Phillips first order of business is to try to get Owens back in the fold.

Illinois State guard Zach Lofton (Soph.) is transferring. He averaged 11.3 ppg for his team who finished 9-9 in the MVC. He's from Minnesota, but I doubt we'd have much interest in him.

I'd hope not, 33% from the field and 29% from behind the arc, yuck

That makes him twice as good as Malik LOL.

Boston College PF Ryan Anderson is transferring and has one season of eligibility left, but will sit out a year. He averaged 14 ppg, 7 rpg this season, last year as a sophomore put up 15 ppg, 8 rpg. Could be worth a look from the Gophers.

True, but I also saw something about him having shoulder surgery and sitting out a year. Wouldn't be an immediate help.

A lot of that can be contributed to Illinois State being the most inexperienced team in the country, they had 9 new comers to D1 ball and no seniors.

Everyone shot pretty bad, but they had some decent wins (Northwestern & Dayton)
and Lofton's minutes were inconsistent, still he seemed to be hitting his stride in the 2nd half of the season.
The coach and him could not seem to get along.

Joey King made a decent transition from the MVC, after averaging just under 7 ppg in the MVC. I think Lofton would fit well in the system.

the links below are some highlights from Lofton's and the Redbirds season.

I'll go back into my hole until I hear confirmation that the Gophers are interested.

From the numbers, in the last 10 games of the season, Lofton shot 40% on 58 three point attempts.

I tend to agree with you. He was a sophomore in his first season of D-1 ball with a very inexperienced team. It simply took him a while to get going.

Ryan Anderson is transferring from BC. The 6'9" PF averaged 15 pts and 8 boards a game.

@GoodmanESPN: North Dakota State will hire assistant coach Martin Richman to replace Saul Phillips.

At least they didn't try to pluck one of our assistants
