Will this be a big enough story to get our opening game with the Orange on national TV? Even if it doesn't, we'd get a lot of eyeballs on the Big Ten Network.

It will definitely get us mentioned a few times....I hope we are the first team to make him realize that he might've underestimated what it would be like to jump into D-1 football after being away from the field for a bit. Couple of INTs, sacked about 6 times, maybe a fumble....that would be nice.

Yes, this would give us an afternoon ESPN game. Precisely the reason Rich Rod thought about bringing Paulus in - exposure for the program. If this does end up happening, it will be a great storyline for both teams. I just don't see it happening though - waltzing right into a starting QB job after hooping for 4 years. We'll see though...
