That is horrible. That is really bad. I applaud Reid and Tyus for handling their situation with some class and respect.
 


Illinois fans have to be in full meltdown mode. Snider decommits and signs with Louisville this morning and now this.
 









Now THAT is the kind of crap that fans can legitimately get pissed at an 18-year-old for. Totally classless.
 

Hahaha. I thought it was funny. Classless, but funny. It can be both.

Not worth getting outraged over. Only way it could have been better if it would have happened to Iowa or Sconny.
 


I'm outraged at any of you criticizing a young kid for taking an opportunity to get a free education at Kansas. You disgust me and the rest of the Minneapolis sports media.

The situations are not at all comparable. Reid Travis's "insult" to the state of Minnesota was by and large in the mind of butthurt fans. He didn't do anything but choose his school. This is an outright taunt.

Let's just agree to disagree on whether Reid was at all disrespectful to the University of Minnesota, accept that my post was a joke, and move on, shall we?
 

Cliff Alexander is an awful person.

That video made my cry for two reasons. The first being that it is hilarious. The second being this is how I would react if Tyus did that.
 

Tough day at the office for Coach Groce. Hearing the audio was even worse. He said, "University of" and then picked the hat. The ultimate troll unless he didn't know that it was Kansas University which wouldn't surprise me.

Despite the acronym being KU, it is in fact the University of Kansas.
 


I think he tried to grab the KU one and accidentally grabbed Illinois in the moment. Haha still funny

Nope. He was quoted in the newspaper saying that his teammates told him to do it.
 

i felt the same when Josh Perkins said the university of Gonzaga, its GU, not U of G, and that video was hilarious, but the local illinois fans constantly get screwed over with Derrick Rose, Anthony Davis, Jabari Parker, Jahlil Okafor and now Cliff Alexander all seeing greener grass elsewhere, they would be a top 5 program if they got there talent to stay home

I think a majority of those kids are from Chicago. Champaign is nothing like Chicago. It's a couple hours away and has a very rural feel for a big time campus. I personally think Illinois' campus is one of the worst in the B1G. Their basketball arena is kind of ****ty too. So I'm not surprised they have trouble keeping all the big time Chicago talent.
 


This is a spinoff of Rick Rickert's commitment to Minnesota. The Rick was so cute thinking he had all of his fans fooled he was picking Arizona.
But Rick wouldn't change a thing, he says that all the time. Methinks Rick lies.

The difference he tricked his fan base and chose them, not vice versa.
