Flower Mound product Reggie Rembert, a starting cornerback at Air Force this past season, has been suspended indefinitely.

He will be allowed to practice, according to the Colorado Springs (Colo.) Gazette, which reported that Rembert violated academy standards. Rembert recorded 66 tackles and a team-high three interceptions last season, while also ranking 18th nationally in punt returns with a 12.8 average.

What does a suspension mean if he can still practice? I wouldn't be surprised to see him reinstated before our game.

I never celebrate when players from opponents are suspended, but this definitely helps us if he can't play.

Yeah, those military academies are very strict I guess. Sounds like a SEC school suspension.

By practice, do they mean he will be working as a scout team player as a form of punishment, rather than running plays with the first team and sweeping the violations under the rug?

More than likely it was a violation for something that if he was at a regular school nothing would have happened at all. When my son played for Air Force, a young man missed an entire season for drinking at a party while under age. No driving nothing else, just got caught drinking at a party. Yes the Academies are strict.
