Lost in all the shuffle and hand-wringing about the football team over the past two weeks has been an impressive recent run by the women's soccer team.
They now have won two of their past three games and have two wins over a #13 ranked Michigan on the road and a home win over #7 Penn State. They also have an overtime tie with Ohio State during that time, so all and all, it's been a very good last three games for the Gopher women. They're now 9-3-1 overall and 2-2-1 in Big Ten play.
Just wanted to extend my congrats to coach Golan and her team for a pair of huge wins with such a young team. Good work ladies and keep up the good work!!!
