Official 2015 Recruiting Updates Thread: Links, Tweets, Videos, Stories, Rumors, etc.

Haven't heard, but I bet they are closely watching who becomes available . Desmond Gant was a late signee last year (June 12).

Another possibility is to bank the remaining scholies or reward some PWO at the end of this coming season.

Anyone have any updates on the Class of 2015???

Yep...they just all decommitted..... JK of course. Would like to hear about what's still up their sleeves considering there seemed to be something secret in the works with some NSD comments.

Well, they did say in Sports Huddle yesterday that Jerry Kill was out of town. Could that mean that recruiting for 2015 is not exactly over with?

I believe, there's a window to sign an LOI, but no window to sign a Grant in Aid agreement, so it's not really cut and dried. Past the official signing deadline you can still pick a kid up.

An A-, really?!? I already hate this kid for being so much smarter than me.

I believe Herbers is another great example of how Kill & Co. recruits the right student-athletes.

Jacob - welcome to Gold Country!

SKI-U-MAH and Go Gophers!

Agreed on the compliment to Kill and his staff as to building a program THE RIGHT WAY with quality students (for the most part) that are good/great athletes and am very excited to see how well this program will develop over time.

There might be a better site, but this is what I found: http://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Division/Top.aspx?DivID=61029

His rankings based on MN HS results this year:

High jump: 4th (6'7" is best)
Long Jump: tied for 1st
Triple Jump: 1st (2 feet 2 inches better than 2nd!!!!)

http://www.raceberryjam.com/indexod.html
this is a good one for MN times

Those are all great distances for jumps, long and triple are elite type in this state depending on the year, the high jump is great but maybe not elite.
Triple jump is down in stat this year so far just by looking at the numbers, I'd expect that to get better as the weather warms up.

Connelly qualifies for State in shot put:

Too lazy to look it up but won't Hardin be (at least on paper) the 3rd fastest guy on the team next year behind Myrick & Edwards? With Jeff Jones playing the slot so much right now, I hope they put Hardin at CB. This kid is a stud.
