Badgers don't have to go to East Lansing or Columbus. Not a bad deal for Bucky.

Well, the Badgers also lose two automatic Ws with no home games with Nebraska or PSU. Those two teams were responsible for 1/3 of Bucky's Big Ten regular season wins last year. And they will face the flipside next year with no home games with OSU or MSU.

Did you notice the name of Sanford's president and CEO, Kelby Krabbenhoft? Pretty sure that's former Badger Joe Krabbenhoft's father.

Bo is putting together a strong schedule. Already have Florida (home), Marquette (home), Saint John's (neutral), and Virginia (road) on the docket.

Yes, he is. But theoretically, Sanford should have little to do with this, they don't own the arena. Really, an Iowa game would have probably made the most sense, but they don't generally have many good non-conference games. In any case, it's a decent match-up.

Depaul as the best home game? That'll have them jamming Welsh-Ryan arena for sure.

I hope (other than Florida State) Lil' Ricky schedules someone at The Barn at least the equal of DePaul. ... and no, likely Summit League favorite NDSU does not count!

SS, I had read that while they scrapped the idea of playing four games at once, they are still thinking of playing 4 games at Jerry World in Arlington to begin the season - supposedly four of the teams that will be involved will be from the Big 12. Any idea (using process of elimination) what the other 4 teams might be?

OSUfan, here are the match-ups. Not exactly a "must-see" event, and it'll be at the American Airlines Center instead of Jerry World.

Actually Sanford Health does own the arena. http://sanfordpentagon.com/

The city of Sioux Falls is also building a new area to be completed in '14 next to the old one which will be called the "Denny Sanford Premier Center" with T Denny Sanford and First Premier Bank (which T Denny Sanford founded) as the major sponsors.

I don't know if the postseason final four or better category is worth breaking it down that far. How does it make a difference in the schedule strength if Santa Clara won the CBI?

I appreciate the extra input, so I think it is worth it.

Just added it as a tidbit. Does it offend you? You're starting to remind me of Cliff Clavin. Is there anything else I can do to make your stay at GopherHole more comfortable?
