Just win, baby. Start showing significant progress on the court and better players will follow. At some point the program needs to get out of this "nothing bettter than .500 (in the Big Ten)" funk.
Certainly wouldn't hurt the Gophers' cause if they became a more viable option for Minnesota kids than what The Mayor has going on @ Iowa State. No sign of a downturn whatsoever in Ames. Ditto for Madison.

Who did them, Nike/Jordan? That seems odd seeing as Michigan and Wisconsin (as well as others I'm sure) are Adidas schools and Northwestern is Under Armour.
