I feel for the kid. I watched him at the EYBL and he was a very impressive player and competitor. Very strong and great footwork for a big.

Is he related to Chasson Randle of Stanford?

I don't think so, Randle is a fairly common name.

Chasson is from Illinois, Julius is from Texas. They could be related but the geography and common last name lead me to believe there is no relation.
