BGSU at Ohio State

Common opponent, and Ohio State struggled with BGSU, winning 61-57 in a tight game. Makes our 68-61 score seem about on par.

Maybe this tells us that the Gophers can be competitve in the Big Ten. But, it's early, so maybe not. In any case the Big Ten is not looking good tonight. Wisky gets smashed by UConn. Indiana is whipped by Norte Dame. OSU is nearly upset by Bowling Green. So being competitive in the BT may not be a big deal.

Tubby was on BTN tonight saying he thought his team would do well in the conference this year. I'm going with the coach!

Well, Nate Miller, one of the best if not the best player on BG's team, did not play against Minnesota but he did play against OSU. OSU is a young team that has a lot of room for improvement & Minnesota is the same way.

Minnesota played without Damien Johnson that night as well. He is a pretty critical player for the Gophers as well. So both team played without one of their best players.
