UCLA Breaks Ground on Pauley Pavilion Renovation

For anyone that has been to Pauley, I'm sure you'll agree that this major renovation is LONG overdue...PP has to be the most disappointing college basketabll arena I've ever been and hopefully the renovation will appropriately showcase the program's storied past. Yeah when I toured the UCLA campus in 1999 I was like, this is Pauley Pavilion?

It was about as bare bones and lacking character as I've seen.

Last time I was there, too. Pretty dumpy looking place. Until you fill it with students and UCLA fans. Like The Barn, it becomes a tougher place to play.
