Can you help a Trojan out?

Adding to norman dales excellent suggestions ... Across the street from the 112 Eatery (North 3rd St) is Saffron. Rated best chef in the Twin Cities for 2010. Just excellent Mediteranean and Middle Eastern. Depending on what you're looking for and your budget, I'd also add Mission (IDS Center), OM - contemporary Indian, and Masa (Mexican) to the downtown Mpls list. However, if you get a spot at the 112 -go for it. Stay away from the MOA. I'd go for a hike/walk from downtown Mpls across the Stone Arch Bridge and see the Mpls River Front District, especially the Mill City Museum. Have breakfast at the Mill City Farmers Market before heading to the stadium. Once on campus, head to Stub and Herb's and sample some local brews.... Fulton IPA - Surly - Summit - just to name a few of the local beers. After the game (if into live music) check out First Avenue-downtown Mpls (club) . National acts every weekend. Enjoy the game and city. Hope you have a good time.
