USF beats DePaul 58-49 in first game of Big East Tournament. Georgetown is next for Bulls. They need to beat Georgetown to legitimately get into the at-large conversation.
 



Zero chance for UConn.

They were probably toast anyways, but nevertheless it's good to see them flame out right away.
 

Thanks SS I though so but wanted to make sure (plus it might help in the C. Joseph recruitment).
 


I am so glad they lost. it is gross that with the number of bubble teams there are, that a team like UConn at 7-11 in their conf. gets in the discussion of NCAA. see you in the NIT, Huskies!!!!

And to flame out with such style! What a year for some of the traditional basketball powers.
 

An amazing stat from tonight's game...all 59 points came from either inside the paint, or from the free-throw line. Something I've never seen before.
