Definitely a good point. My thought is usually teams don't foul with under 5 seconds left as you never know when a guy may shoot it and you don't want to run the risk of fouling a 3 point shooter. Also, you would still have the opportunity to make one and miss the 2nd intentionally at that point.

Completely agree. I saw our recruiting rankings somewhere on another thread, but we have consistently ranked in the top 5 in all of college hockey the past several years. Lucia is getting the top players, but he isn't getting them to perform. This completely falls on the coach in my opinion...

Joel also said that they are working on a new hockey practice facility, but someone needs to spearhead the funding for it. They hope to break ground by 2024.

It is not ok for this program to be satisfied with "Home Ice" in the first round of the WCHA Playoffs. Not to mention we've missed the NCAA tournament 3 years in a row. The sweep by Alaska Anchorage is icing on the cake. Lucia deserves all the credit in the world for bringing us 2 National...
