South Dakota State 27 - North Dakota State 17 BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Is it something he needs to improve? Absolutely. Hardpressed to find a QB that doesn't need to get better at that however. For reference.

South Dakota State 27 - North Dakota State 17 BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

My apologies, I did not click on that MaxPreps link until now. It is woefully incomplete and is missing about half his career games/stats. I attended many Marshall games during his time there. A lot of his throws were downfield. Completion percentage by itself is a junk statistic unless you...

South Dakota State 27 - North Dakota State 17 BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Stats aren't "special" because Marshall was routinely up 5 or 6 scores at halftime. Lance would rarely see the field in 2nd half and if he did, not exactly throwing the ball up 40. Also the running back on that team (Jefferson Lee V, South Dakota State) ended up with over 100 career touchdowns...

New Transfer Commit: Luke Loewe from W&M

Average the two and its 36.85% ---- which would put him second all time at Minnesota behind Blake Hoffarber (40.97%) and in a virtual tie with Voshon Lenard.

Packers decision to kick field goal late - can anyone explain it?

Fair and valid points. One thing I think is being undersold is the difference between stopping a team who is driving to win a game vs one who is trying to run out the clock. The mindsets are totally different and too many teams get too conservative when trying to run out the final minutes...

Packers decision to kick field goal late - can anyone explain it?

FWIW Brady was just 6 of 13 for 69 yards with a TD and 3 INTs in the 2nd half before that throw to Evans on 1st down. Brady is the GOAT and super clutch, but Darnold not far off on those numbers.

Packers decision to kick field goal late - can anyone explain it?

The key point there is needing a touchdown to WIN the game. You still lose roughly half the time if you just force overtime.

Packers decision to kick field goal late - can anyone explain it?

That's a fair point. Depends on how limited clock we're talking about. Had things gone according to Packers plan, they would have gotten the ball back around their own 30 with around 1:45 left and 1 timeout. Plenty of time to go down the field and score a go ahead touchdown. The low key play of...

Packers decision to kick field goal late - can anyone explain it?

Disagree with this take. The analytics actually support going for two earlier and here is why. If you are successful the first time, you are down just 6 points. A touchdown and extra point gives you the lead. If you don't get it the first time, you still have a chance to tie the game later...

Packers decision to kick field goal late - can anyone explain it?

Hate the Packers but I don't think the call was that misguided. They had already struggled in goal to goal situation throughout the game and couldn't have felt great about their chances. The thing to remember is even had they scored and gotten the two point conversation, you would still be...

Yes, I'll never, ever, forget the moment Morten Anderson missed. Just like I'll never forget where I was when D'Angelo Russell busted that 60 yard run on 3rd and long to set up the game winning field goal over Michigan in '05.

Potential Big Ten-only schedule gaining steam?

Nope. B1G headquarters has already made it abundantly clear that entire classes of Indiana and Minnesota football players should go their entire careers without facing off (since 2009, they've only played in 2013 and 2018). No way they'd tack on a 2020 meeting.
