Question for anyone who played football at a higher level than me... ... does wearing a jersey that's the same color as a football help the offense (in other words, does it make it harder for the D to locate the football)? If so, I'm staying we stick with maroon shirts. If not, then full banana...

And don't ride an e-bike on wet/muddy trails (true for any bike, not just e-bikes). E-bikes can weigh a lot, and can do a lot of damage to the trails. Make sure the trail is firm before you add a bunch of ruts to the path. I'll get off my soapbox now...

There's a reason last year's QB ran so much, the OL. This year Rutgers has a statue as QB, there will be a LOT more sacks. Statues are a lot easier to hit. AK won't last more than four games.

Just give me a team that's fun to watch, and I'm happy. The definition of "not fun" is Badger ball, where every possession they just run time off the clock. Play intense defense, and make it interesting on offense, and I'm tuning into the games.

Worst draft so far is the Falcons. I really don't get it. They just paid Kirk a lot, and have a lot of needs.

We did give up a lot though, in 2025 we only have one 1st round pick and two 5th round picks. That's it. Free agency works, but getting some late-round picks that contribute on the field really helps with the salary cap, especially ours as we'll have to pay a lot to keep JJ.

They probably would (and should) use the top picks for D, but on O, IMO we need a third WR and an interior OL (and a RB but we can pick that up in the later rounds). If we want a great Offense, use the first-round picks on WR and IOL, and select Pratt in the 3rd round. We'd probably get the 2nd...

I'm on the train that says a QB's success really depends on the other 10 players on the field. If you've got a great supporting cast, being a great QB becomes a whole lot easier. Use the high draft picks to get that supporting cast, and get Pratt in the 3rd round.
