IMHO, it should be. I'm not going to say all, but realistically the P4 conference champs are going to have to play extra games against what....Top 15....maybe top 10 or top 5 teams, where ND could just add one more practice game against a middling MAC or Conf USA team.

Notre Dame also doesn't have to play in a conference championship game, which is basically an extra play-off game for everyone else.

Well ya, the NSIC never was a very good football conference. Before the merger with what was left of the NCC, it was Northern St, WSU then everyone else (CSP could steak up once in a while)... The NSIC had even stricter rules on scholarships because the original member schools weren't all that...

Because the bounce is crazy. They also like to wet down the field to slow the ball a bit too. That doesn't happen on turf. Every touch needs to be pure. I played soccer in HS and some in college. I'd rather play on the new turf than grass every day of the week.

Hear me out... Why should the yankees need to be in the position to rent a field vs just owning one and rolling out after the baseball season....full knowing they have an effing bowl game coming up.
