Let's see, two years as head coach and an elite and sweet sixteen appearance. Third year and his best two players from the past years are gone to graduation and things are tough because those before him didn't recruit well and it is his fault? Those who want him gone are in the serious minority.

Hugh's seat is fine. He knew that this year and next would be tough. Things will turn around. He hasn't had the best incoming classes to work with and it is showing. The man knows how to coach. What he needs to learn is how to recruit. And, there are some indications he is figuring it out.

Great win early in the season for the Gophers! I could see them playing a little better tonight since they are guaranteed a split and Texas will feel the pressure of not losing both matches. Impressed by the way they came back after the set 3 loss to win the 4th set after being down 22-24...

Great get by Joel and Regina. Had to be tough waiting for Hugh to decide and then finding the right interim coach. Can't wait to see the team in action!

Should know next week. Feeling it will be Hugh M but not until after the 2012 Olympics. Working on finding an interim coach until Hugh comes on board. If this is true, this should be a great choice. Should help with recruiting and will have a great coach as well.
