With Zion out it looks like Sac vs OKC, Lakers vs Denver, and us vs Phoenix...could easily be 3 upset series

The west is just a fricken gauntlet...yeah it sucks we have to play Phoenix but i wouldn't be jumping for joy having to play anyone else either. Dallas, Sac, NO, Lakers, GS are not exactly easy outs. The Wolves just need to buck up and win a series...there's a reason we're the 3 and they're...

I'm still a season or two behind so I'm trying desperately not to read spoilers.

I haven't seen any news on Towns...aren't we nearing the one month timeline when he was going to be re-evaluated?

Looking at remaining schedules I think the Wolves can finish the season ahead of OKC but Denver will be hard to jump.

What would be a targeted haul? We need a PG obviously but have multiple core guys locked up decently long term. Thinking just bench spots? Draft picks?

This is why I don't even care too much about seeding at this point. We won't even know who we will be playing until the last game of the season is done since it's such a mess at 1-3 and 5-8. Yeah, home court is great but against all these teams it will play a minor role for any team in the west.

what's a torn meniscus mean for timeline? Does that require surgery?

In all honesty the west is such a loaded mess I don't really know if anyone can be all that happy with any seeding. You get home court but you're going up against an absolute bruiser of a team in any series...I just don't feel safe if I'm any team in any series throughout the whole playoffs...

    Fantasy Sports Talk

I did fantasy baseball for years and loved it so much more than football. Loved getting mlb.tv every year and watching games from 6-12 every night just because you might have that closer come in during a west coast game. Unfortunately I haven't played in a while now and our league wasn't a...

Doesn't look like he's played much in the last 3-4 years so my guess is he'll be gone after the 10 day contract.

RandBall: Pessimism? Nah. Now the best Gophers teams can compete in College Football Playoff

But this brings me back to another question though...does a 10-2 gopher team (and not just MN let's say a 10-2 Maryland, Purdue, Northwestern, Illinois, etc.) get in over a 9-3 Alabama in a down year for them?

RandBall: Pessimism? Nah. Now the best Gophers teams can compete in College Football Playoff

I don't know...I can see a 10-2 gopher team getting left out behind another 10-2 Big Ten team who doesn't get into the Big Ten Championship, a 10-2 SEC team not in the SEC championship, or even a 9-3 SEC team. You think we're getting in if we have the same record as Michigan, Oregon, Penn St...
