Just a guess but individual football players are probably getting way less than what we are hearing even marginal basketball guys are being offered. Another factor is probably the athletes themselves. Football is a team game whereas basketball is far more focused on the individuals.

It's actually an interesting idea......would be a tough sell to get the fanbase to support the crap teams up until you decide to spend money, plus you would have to have boosters willing to keep building up the stockpile of money for the year you are going for it. But if you had a massive pile...

So looking at all 18 teams 7 of their projected starters are transfers in year one at their new school including 4 of the top 6 on their list. 2 of their projected starters are true freshman 7 are guys who were with their team last year (some of those were transfers from the year before) 2...

Great for Rashod, his pro career hasn't really taken off yet through his first 3 years but hopefully he can keep grinding and become a bigger part of their offense over the next few.

Very nice to get an early commitment from a kid who is likely to be one of the top Minnesota kids in 2026. Local kid as well so that greatly improves the chances it will stick.

Until guys step up and prove they can get it done you have to keep looking for and bringing in other options. QB was a mess last year but the WR didn't exactly shine either outside of Jackson. Hopefully some guys step up whether that is guys that were already on the roster or some of these...
