The kid has talent. I wish him well. He would be a good fit behind Cousins.
I like the QB we have. He had a great season in 2019. He’ll have another chance this fall. No point in looking back. We probably missed on someone else also. This Gopher team has a lot of talent. theyll be fun to watch...
Our coaches need to be better at recruiting. When Robbins and Carr were not on the floor. We couldn’t compete. We were left with a bunch of role players. Keeping all of these kids allows us to fight for 11th place in the conference, again. ( We failed last year.) The Gophers will not compete in...
This kid is tied closely to his family. He goes to Vandy or Iowa for that reason. He is certainly not NBA ready. He may never get there. I hope he does. Our current coaching staff will recruit 4s & 5s just fine. There is no reason to believe that they can’t.
An AD of Coyles stature does not do warm-up and practice interviews. He and the U have too much credibility for that. interviews being conducted are for the job, no matter the candidate.
There needs to be some upgrades done at Williams arena for the fans. The idea that you can’t recruit kids there is laughable. One of the top volleyball programs in the country plays next door in the same building. They recruited the#1 ranked player in the country last year. They seem to get the...
Gates could be very good. However, the best indication of future success, is having been successful in the past. That‘s Musselman and Dutcher. Both are coaching ranked teams.
What I’m saying is that we have a gold mine of HS talent here that we don’t tap into. To be successful, we have to get some of those kids. Maybe not the best kid. There are too many kids leaving our state for programs that are not any better than ours.
It’s a question that should be asked and...
None of these jobs is better than Minnesota. Legendary arena, new, state of the art practice facility, Big Conference, solid AD, supportive President, very good high school program. the right guy could win here for a decade or more and turn it around in 3 years or less.
