Those shot numbers are horribly misleading. A lot of them were not high quality shots. Duluth was throwing a lot of junk shots on net (long range shots, bad angle shots, etc). Shots that any good goalie is not going to have trouble with. I also think the scorekeeper had a bit of a liberal idea...

It is pretty uncommon to have more than 8 defensemen on a roster. We will already be plenty covered for next year as it is. I could see them going for a guy that can come in 2013 if needed to cover our bases. But I don't see a ton of need with what we know right now. I'm not surprised at all...
