Wilson was our 10th guy basically all year, Ramberg and Reader were the 13th and 14th, Wilson was brought in to be our backup center and he was basically unplayable, huge miss especially with Payne's back issues this season. A quality backup there would have gone a long way this year.
I don't think so, Carr transferred here after the coach who recruited him at Pitt was fired and had to sit out. There has been an argument in favor of this, but I don't believe it was ever actually a qualifying waiver reason.
He's the head coach for the team that is the subject of this forum, do you expect not to see discussion about him? Coyle has made his NCAA expectations public, so of course every move forward is critical. He will need to achieve something he hasn't is first 3 years or he is gone. I am not sure...
Back then you could go through the actual draft and if you didn't get picked or didn't like where you got drafted, you had the option to return. Now you have to pull out prior to the draft or you lose remaining eligibility.
That's weird because all of those schools will gladly pay millions of dollars to hire the "best" coach available. Why do some coaches get paid more and get the "best" jobs? It probably has nothing to do their coaching ability, they just happen to know the AD and got the job.
I've been told here college basketball is about talent and not coaching... funny how having all the talent in the world didn't work out for Cal in the end.
