His health issues a few years ago may have a lot to do with his decision.

I initially called the Gopher Fan line. Guy didn't know about the buses so he transferred me to the parking and transportation office. Lady I talked to said the buses would start at the same time (6:00 am). Probably best to confirm before posting. Excitement got the best of me.

I know lots around the stadium open at 6am. Called to verify that the Fairgrounds lot will open at 6am as well and buses will start moving people over to TCF right away! Good Move. If promoted a bit I would think this might keep additional traffic away from the campus. GO GOPHERS!

My son in law has a client in the Cedar Rapids area. They host a tailgate next to Kinnick and have a private suite. Son in law is invited and he is taking me as his guest! Doesn't get much better than that!! Of course I got the lecture from my daughter and wife to behave myself and not embarrass...

Watching channel 9 here in the TC's last night around 9:58 and was pleasantly surprised to see 30 second add for Gopher Football. One of the more solid ads that I have seen. Anyone else seen it yet?

Lot opens at Noon. Get there very early to claim your spot. The NDSU alumni association is setting up their tailgate there and have sent out an e-mail blast to alumni and fans advising them to park/tailgate at this lot. GO GOPHERS!

A while back there it was mentioned that the U alumni association was predicting possibly up to 7,000 Gopher fans at USC. We will never know for sure just how may there will be but what is your estimate for the number of Gopher fans? 3,000, 5,000, 7,000 or more? Also, what color combination...
