Trying not to be that guy, but weren't Seton Hall, Notre Dame and Iowa State assigned to them. They play ISU every year, credit for scheduling Virginia

Seton Hall = Gavitt Tipoff
Notre Dame = ACC Challenge
Iowa State = continuing home & home
Virginia = part of their exempt tournament
Northern Iowa = every other year

Valid point, but in the end it's still all part of one schedule. I think (Power 6) teams should play roughly half (6 or 7) of their non-conference games vs. Power 6/notable/decent opponents. Iowa has done that (have 6) when you add in Memphis or Providence as part of their exempt tournament.

For comparison, so far we know the Gophers have 4 (Florida State, Saint John's, Arkansas, Vanderbilt). I hope/expect Pitino to have 2 more.
