I gave you very clear instructions that you failed to follow and thus there was no bet. I asked you to PM me so I could tell you where to post up the money. No one in their right mind is giving credit to unknown Badger fans on the internet. Once your account is open and you've funded it you can bet as you like. You failed to contact me via PM, open your account or post up the funds.

I'm not claiming I'm a saint, although the only thing that I've written/said that I would take back is writing what I did about a certain DE, just wrote it too strong, but to suggest I'm a racist is asinine.

Well, I should have predicted this.

Costa Rican Gopher is backing out on his wager because I accepted his bet in a reply to the thread instead of sending a PM as he requested. I accepted the bet in public on purpose, and with good reason as it turns out.

SF--You have to realize that the money has to be held by a 3rd party in a transaction of this sort. It isn't a legitimate bet until the money is actually put up (which in your case it never was).

Can separate, even though CRG calling me a racist was, to say the least, over-the-top...I'd be lying if I said I went through and read the entire thread...I see where SF linked to the message where they agreed to the bet a few days prior...getting into semantics some, but I've always been one to honor a bet if I lose...have, and will continue to put minor details aside like where $$ needed to be put...bottom line: CRG made the bet, and now won't pay....maybe a compromise should be reached then...CRG pays him half.

My god man!! You even gave the link that proves you are nothing more than an idiot. If it wasn't for the link, some might feel for ya, but you just shot-down your own argument. You even ended your post with a question mark... What don't you understand with the whole thing? You had a sure thing (in your mind and in reality) and couldn't follow through with simple instructions. But to come back and cry about it while giving proof of your downfall at the same time = classic. Take a Betting 101 course next time.

NO HE DIDN'T MAKE THE BET. He wanted to, but the Badger guy never followed through. Read the thread. NO WAY is that a real bet. And, no way based on that posting would CRG come asking the guy for money had it been reversed. There was NO BET. Read it Doogs.

Its one thing to pay off a bet you make in person with someone you know, but NO WAY is anyone EVER going to pay off a bet made on line in a free message board without there is money put down with a third party on line in advance. That is what CRG wanted to do and the Badger guy either didn't really want to bet or was blowing a lot of hot air.

For SFBadger to come on here now and claim he is owed anything is a joke.

I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt in a lot of threads Doogie, but you're wrong here. CRG was clear that the money had to be put up with a 3rd party before he would make a bet. Because sfbadger didn't do that, CRG didn't agree to the bet. A guy can't renig on a bet that was never made. In this case, he didn't bet.

I also agree with many others. sfbadger you look like a moron when the proof you provide shows the bet wasn't fully consumated yet. You team won the game so congratulations. However, next year we have another shot. You, on the other hand, may remain a moron forever. Good luck with that.

I could care less about him being a Badgers fan ... Badgers fans annoy me as much as any fanbase ... I saw the one snapshot that a bet was agreed to ... if the tiny details weren't worked out, then figure out a compromise, i.e. pay half then
