Just for the hell of it, I "played" Chad Ford's mock lottery+draft on ESPN's site this morning. It does a mock lottery every time you hit the button, based on current NBA standings, and then makes a selection for that team based on needs, etc.
I ran it 6 times and the Wolves never once got the #1 overall pick, even though they currently have the 2nd worst record in the league. It has to be an omen, the Wolves are forever screwed when it comes to the draft lottery.
Side note; Oklahoma's Blake Griffin was the #1 pick in every scenario I saw and the Wolves were picking UConn's big 7'-3 center Hasheem Thabeet in every scenario, whether it was picking 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, etc.
