Jeff Portykus, Wisconsin beat guy for the Milwaukee paper, got back to me with the Q&A ... will organize later, but here is his prediction for Saturday:

I think UW will win a game dictated by the offenses. I'm not sure how well Minnesota can run the ball. I do believe Decker will have a very good game. He is too good to shut down. But I think UW has too many weapons on offense for Minnesota's defense, particularly the secondary.

So he is a fricking homer! Find me one Red Skunk tail sucker east of Eau Claire that doesn't think they will win and Zac Epping doesn't count.

I am sick of having to think about and read about this game. I wish they could just play right now... on my yard. Saturday can not come soon enough. Meanwhile... I guess it is back to reading and thinking for me.

oh wow...thanks dookie! as a MINNESOTA GOPHERS fan this is just what i care about......the opinion of another becky homer from milwaukee!

now -- and i know this might be hard for you -- how about you try cover this saturday's game from a positive minnesota gophers angle (there are plenty available out there) and one that doesn't involve the following:

1.) trying to tear down the program because of your personal dislike for coach brewster

2.) trying to generate hits on your star tribune stories by writing inflammatory crap in the daily rag about a 19 year old who comes from a difficult background and was involved in a relatively minor skirmish one year ago. this type of scene happens every weekend in downtown clubs all over the country. it was nothing more than some guys puffing up their chests. a non-story.

3.) providing us the opinion of a third rate reporter from milwaukee who probably sleeps in red becky pajamas. no one here (except the reusse, barreiro, pa and now dookie apologists) gives a rip what some tool bag sconnie reporter named porky thinks.

by the way. have you received your congratulatory chocolate cake yet from fatrick reusse for coming over to the dark side with him?! you two will be sooooooo happy together. enjoy!
