Fun Fact: Minnesota vs. Wisconsin

Although the Gophers actually lead the all time series by 8 games, since the Slab of Bacon trophy was introduced the series is actually tied 38-38-3. I find that interesting. Winner of Saturday's game takes the lead in the Trophy Series. (I'm also including the 4 seasons when the Slab of Bacon was lost and eventually replaced by the Axe).

The slab of bacon wasn't lost, Wisconsin just decided to keep it. I think the slab ought to be donated to College Football Hall of Fame, it was never officially retired, and doesn't belong to either school.

nah, only the axe and The Stein are in play. And, I frankly don't think The Stein should ever be returned, no matter the outcome Saturday or in the future.
