Shooter: Don't be surprised if Isaiah Washington ends up at Iona

If true, and you truly love Iona, and you really love “Jelly” - could you safely be called a . . . . “Jelly Io-nut”?

Let it be known that I called Iona far before "little pop-gun" wrote this. Iona is a very good fit for IW. It's in the metro of NYC. They are always near the top of their conference. IW gets local exposure and he plays in a conference where he can shine.
I really like the idea of IW playing at Iona.

Why would anyone be surprised by that?

I think he could do better if he really wanted to but Iona is at least the best team in that conference I guess.

100%. Dropping down a level or two & playing somewhere close to NYC makes the most sense. Hindsight's 20/20, but this is where he should have ended up to begin with.
