i think that Brewster and his staff have proven to be pretty good judges of talent so I am not too worried that our commits don't look that good on paper.
eskridge, edwards, stoudemire and wilhite were all 2 stars according to scout and i thin they will all be good players.

if Sherels had played and we had a competent replacement for will we would have beaten Cal.

Are any posts really necessary in the big scheme of things?

the recruiting portion was in response to several posters criticizing the quality of our current recruiting class.

the etc was in reference to the comments relating to the Cal game.

I think it's an important point.

brew caught a lot of heat in his first couple of recruiting classes because people felt he was after the numbers and his kids probably weren't all that.

I think it's a good post to ponder how good a job he does spotting talent. It's a huge part of the recruiting equation. It can make a difference filling out a recruiting class with under-ranked kids.
