Beat Atlanta and NYG to finish 11-5

Carolina loses to NYG and NO to finish 11-5....we beat them head to head.

OR

NYG loses to Dallas, Carolina, and us to finish 11-5...we beat them head to head.

Not likely but possible.

I'm still not 100% sold they will make the playoffs. New York is good (though they could be resting people), and Atlanta is a good team fighting for their playoff lives. The Bears have it much easier with a home game against the Packers and going to Houston. The Vikes should win the division, but they should get that locked up before starting to think about first round byes.

I was thinking about this driving home from the game tonight. I hadn't considered the Carolina angle though. It just occurred to me that if the Giants lose to Carolina next week and we beat Atlanta, our final game of the season will be for a first round bye.

Crazy...

Don't forget that the Vikes only had to win one of their last two last year (Wash at home or SF on the road) and blew it. They have been on a very impressive run of late but Vikings fans always have to hold their breath and cross their fingers.

jamiche,

>>Not likely but possible.<<

Very, very, very not likely.

Did you watch the Dallas-Giants game last night? Either of those defenses might have shut us out.

>>They have been on a very impressive run of late...<<

How was last weekend's game vs Detroit impressive?

Any win on the road is impressive.

Okay, but that's a fairly low standard in Detroit's case.

Jackson played the game of his career yesterday. We should savor it while we can.

Peterson won't make his goal of 2000 yds, but I'd like to see him top 1800 and remain healthy.
