He was wrong to say "You Lie!" where he said it but he was totally correct with the accusation.
Here's what Obama now says about illegals: (short course- he admits to planning to legalize them ASAP)

No, no, no we are not going to pay to have illegals insured. First we are going to legalize them- and THEN we'll pay for them to be insured.
Oh I see, that wasn't misleading. I wonder if the President has the additional $50 billion per year that insuring those 12 billion people would cost, figured into the cost of the bill? What do you think? Meanwhile the extra crafty President pared down the number of uninsured in his last speech from 46 million to 35 million in order to leave out the illegals (becasue he had been criticized). Now we find out the number was a ruse. This is all part of the huge pattern of disception that has been involved in his health care pitch from day one.

This issue is hardly as black/white as you make it appear.. Is "The Hope" backing up on this? Probably so. Is Wilson blowing it up for his own gain? Probably so. Joe Wilson has been caught on tape changing his tune many times over? Shouldn't we be calling him a liar?

It's not difficult at all to document Obama's pattern of lies and distortions. For some, candidate and presidential lies are apparently par for the course and acceptable. For others, the bar should be much higher for the leader of the free world.
That said, Wilson was entirely wrong to blurt out his comment when he did.

I think Wilson has consistently apologized for speaking out where and when he did it. Meanwhile he cannot apologize for saying what he and millions of others believe is true.
Look, it's one thing to call out a bride to be for cheating on her prospective groom. But you don't yell it out while she's coming up the aisle. Wilson did the equivalent and it was wrong. But he was a truth teller in the process.

Wilson is not an ass. You don't even know him. Mounting frustration and obvious lack of self-control led to his very inappropriate outburst. An ass would not have immediately apologized to the president.

It took years for the restrained "left" to react the the disaster of the Bush administration regarding the Iraq war. Over-reacting is exactly what the right has done to Obama. They - you - are masters of projection. I'm not over-reacting but I'm used to your jump to the offensive.

Look, you score no points by looking backwards, and you must know that I agree with your assessment of Bush's war.
