ISU commit RB James White...

...at one time had a Minnesota offer. He's an all-purpose RB from Skyline (TX). I'm not sure if we backed away and then he committed to ISU or not. But, with Chizik out, is this a guy we take another look at? I have no idea, just wondering.

I doubt that we would. He seemed like a Plan C or D guy. I would rather take Al-Terek McBurse over White. But I can't see us taking anymore tailbacks. We've now got Bennett, Shady, Eskridge, Lipscomb and Whaley coming back. I might be missing someone... Either way, I think we have enough backs for now.

We're not getting McBurse. I think he has taken all 5 official visits and Minnesota did not receive one.

I agree with you that he will end up at Nebraska most likely. The only other school that he was even seriously considering the last I heard was Purdue.
