View Full Version : Has Grey's Anatomy "jumped the shark"?!

This entire Izzie/Denny storyline is just about as uncreative as a team of writers can get. When a main character spends 3-4 episodes having sex and fighting with a dead person, it leads me to believe the show has jumped the dreaded shark.

I know it's tough for shows to stay sharp and creative for numerous years, but the Izzie/Denny storyline is just unreal. It's clear that the writers realize what all the fans realized a while back (that Denny should have never been killed off) but to bring him back to have sex and argue with Izzie is pathetic.

Go Gophers!!

Yes - it's hands down, the worst story line. I actually finally caught up with Grey's this week, and saw the Izzie/Denny storyline. I would have loved to have him stick around longer, I loved that story (what was that, in season 2?) - but you can't just take it back now.

The sad thing is, I thought it jumped the shark last season when Addison left, and all those super annoying interns joined the cast. It got much worse this season!

The best thing about the show is that I get to play some video games, since my wife no longer "appreciates" live commentary.

I'm working on Lipstick Jungle, but unfortunately she is agreeing with my play by play.

Worst story line ever.

My current guilty pleasure is Gossip Girl, notsomuch Grey's anymore.

You won't have to worry about Lipstick Jungle much longer, Monk - it got canceled. I think they are just running the episodes they already made, and then it's over. I'm really bummed about that one, because that was my favorite show. :(
