The legend lives on - as Fed is on the verge of his sixth straight, yep - sixth STRAIGHT, US Open, Federer hit this afternoon what he called after the match "the greatest shot in my life." He was playing Novak Djokovic (#3 in the world) and hit a SICK between the legs passing shot that was about as perfect as you can get, with incredible pace and angle. It set up a match point which led to a straight set, but hard fought win.

I saw this live but initially had no reaction. In all honesty I didn't believe what I saw the first time. It took a couple replays for it to sink in what he had done.

I was kind of surprised he said he practices the shot but it never works. Nice place and time to have it "work". Amazing.
