Don't pay attention to any weather report in the paper. It's a day old by the time you read it.

I've been following this too, and for the last three days or so it's been fairly consistent at cool & cloudy with a chance of showers.

Truthfully, I don't care about the weather. But it makes me so happy that the weather forecasts for our home games are meaningful again.

Yes, agreed. I would sort of like to have it be 70 and sunny on Saturday, but there will be plenty of those days as well. In fact, being in the elements may make this weekend even more fun!

As an extraordinarily run-heavy team, does this play into the hands of air force??

Nah, we're an outdoor football team. We're used to the Minnesota elements. :D

If the weather is bad any loose ball play becomes tricky. If the wind is not a factor, a forward pass has one good, one really bad and one neutral outcome. I woud think that the poorer the weather the closer to even the three outcomes are. Better weather would tend to favor the passing team, I would think. A loose ball on a lateral has only a good or a bad outcome. The poorer the weather the more likely the bad outcome.

I'm hoping for a tornado of sleet with the team and the fans standing stoically through it all, like 50000 Bud Grants. :D

An average autumn day would be acceptable too.

Mike Lynch was giving the forecast on CCO this morning and said there are still a LOT of questions about this weekend but that it looks to be around a high of 70 Saturday with a possibility of scattered showers/T-storms.
