At the half, on Jankoska's senior night, Penn State leads the Spartans, 40-26. Jankoska (0-6) is scoreless. Plus, Penn State has smothered MSU's inside game. (So much for my thinking MSU was the second best team in the B1G)

In Bloomington, the Hawkeyes lead Indiana 39-35 at the end of 20:00. Iowa keeps trying to open a lead but the Hoosiers keep battling back.

Down by 19 in the third quarter the Spartans roared back defeating PSU 72-64. Jankoska led the charge and finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds. The game turned with about 7:00 left in the third. Jankoska and McCutcheion scored back to back, coast to coast, contested layups (McCutcheon's included an and-one). They jump started a relentless comeback.

Indiana and Iowa are starting their second overtime. Terry Moren had to be restrained by her players at the end of the first OT when she thought there was a foul on Anderson. It wasn't her first complaint. In the final minute of regulation, Buss stole the ball at mid-court and was breaking away for the go ahead bucket when a shot clock violation was called on the Hawkeyes. Kastanek hit a three with 3 seconds remaining to put Iowa ahead and then Cahill nailed the a three for the Hoosiers with .6 remaining to send it to the 1st OT.

Indiana (9-6) pulled it out in the 2nd OT, 80-77, blocking a Hawkeye (7-8) three attempt at the buzzer.

Michigan State improved to 9-6 while Penn State fell to 8-7.
