We used to get the reactions from some of the Minnesota recruits after games like yesterday's. Haven't seen any for a while. Any particular reason? It sure would be nice to hear an update on what this season, the streak and other recent games have had on their thoughts about Minnesota.
 

Chris Monter has published many recruiting articles with the basketball recruits and in every one he asks them their reaction to the great season the Gophers have had. They are on this message board and on the home page of GopherHole. Not sure how you've missed those.
 

Love seeing the 2 recruits shooting at the barn after the game last night.
 




I understand that he has done a number of articles on recruits, it just seems like there haven't been many lately. Just looking for some more recent updates.

I would be really pumped if we secured early commitments from Thompson and Kalscheur along with Oturu. That would give us a great start to the class and with 2 scholarships still left open, allow the staff to shoot for the moon on some big time recruits nationally.
 

Is Kalscheur good?

It seems like he keeps dropping in recruiting rankings...I don't want to gauge everything on that but he hasn't picked up major offers to this point and his best offer aside from the U is UNI.

If he weren't a local kid would people be excited about Gophers recruiting him? Genuinely curious because I haven't seen him play much.

You can never have enough shooting. You look at the impact Akeem has had on our offense and you have to think we'd love to have that for 4 years. He would probably never play the minutes Springs has for us but having a 3PT specialist off the bench like Gabe would be a nice piece. It's just all a part of building a roster. I should also add, the Gophers aren't getting five 4* recruits in 2018. The idea of that only happens at a handful of programs.
