Excluding Maryland, Purdue,and Wisconsin from this comparison, as they appear to be locks for the NCAA Tournament. These are the B1G teams currently:

(1) In good position but not that far from the bubble: Minnesota, Northwestern;

(2) Sit squarely on the bubble: Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State;

(3) Not on the bubble but not dead yet: Illinois, Ohio State.

The bracket projection I saw today at CBS has UMn listed as a #7 seed, and NW a #8 seed, and neither are listed as bubble teams.

MSU, Michigan and Ohio St are all listed as bubble teams, with Michigan and OSU both as #11 seeds and playing in the play in games.

Not trying detract from what you posted SS. Love and appreciate all of your work. Keep up the good work.

Methodology question, Selection. Does your system predict "if the tournament were today" or does it "project" based on games not yet played? Curious.

Thanks. Gophers are in really good shape for a bid. Now it's closing time, time to pretty much seal the deal by winning next 3 games.

Here's a good place to see all the brackets you want to see.

Collectively, the Gophers are looking good. Just win half their games so they don't slide much and presto!

Agreed with the analysis, but the problem is that with seven games left, they just as easily go 5-2 as they could 2-5. I like their prospects, but like I tell the less information people in my office who say it's a done deal, they still need to win games, and there are no gimmes in this league this year. Needs to continue tomorrow with a non-dramatic win against improving Rutgers.

I really don't care if it includes drama. We need to win this game at Rutgers. Really our only "opportunity" for a bad loss. A road game is a road game is a road game, in the B1G. They also recently took Wisconsin to OT at home.

You are right on. A loss tomorrow would really be a bad situation especially with 2 difficult home games ahead. Win tomorrow and build on your 3 game winning streak!

Is Iowa out of the bubble chase? Sweet if the Gopher win kept them out.
