The Badgers (1-10) gave Jonathan Tsipis his first B1G win defeating Nebraska (1-11) 82-56 in Madison. Every team now has a conference win.


In a battle of the stars, Tori Jankoska (32 points and 11 rebounds) and Allie Disterhoft (25 points and 12 rebounds) dueled in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes (6-5) emerged with the overtime victory over the Spartans (6-5), 87-83.

What a thumping for the Badgers over the Cornhuskers. Makes the Gophers win in Lincoln look a lot less impressive. And, on Jankoska, I thought going into the year that she was going to try to do way too much for the Spartans. And she sometimes does that, but in her years at MSU she has developed into a terrific player and certainly a viable WNBA player. If I was voting on BIG POY today, I'd vote Maryland''s Jones, followed by OSU's Mitchell, then Jankoska. Coffey and Walker-Kimbrough would round out my top 5.
