Early Big Ten start killing some PR

Starting after January Big Ten bb had a natural buzz for games - with early starts in December some students are gone, conflict with bowl games, etc... less buzz.... no articles in the Strib at all yet..
 

Shouldn't be scheduling conferences until school back in session. Epic schedule fail! :mad:
 

You realize there only a finite amount of weeks to get in the 18 conference games? Or that schools don't have the same academic calendars?
 

Just wait until next season when the BT tournament is a week early at Madison Square Gardens.

That's exactly it. Be careful what you wish for when we wished for an 18-game schedule PLUS a conference tournament.
 

Two times we have a Saturday to Saturday games.... time enough to insert two games between those dates
 

Next Season

Just wait until next season when the BT tournament is a week early at Madison Square Gardens.

Conference play will actually much earlier, they plan to play 2 games by the 1st weekend of December.
