Weird that Arkansas got more votes than us in the coaches poll 7-1 all things considered.
 

Tennessee also with 7 votes in the AP with a 4-4 record. They've played some good teams but lost in all of them, lost to Chattanooga, and one of their wins was against a DII team.

They lost by 1 or 2 to North Carolina yesterday. Maybe they gained some eye test cred for that.

Yeah I saw that. They also lost a close one to Baylor. But at the same time I think its strange to give teams eye cred for close losses to good teams instead of beating teams.

Middle Tennessee received 7 votes, not Tennessee.
 




Only three teams of the Big 10 in the polls and Indiana is tops at number 9. Conference is way down right now as a whole according to the "experts."

I think the conference is deep, just doesn't have a lot of great teams at the top.
 

Looks like we won't get ranked until we throttle MSU on the 27th:)

The Big Ten is presently rated 4th, after finishing 5th last year and 4th the year before. The Big Ten is performing right about where you'd expect, mid-tier high major.

And the B1G certainly hasn't been afraid to challenge itself.
