I am the only one surprised coaches don't view Wagner as preseason all-big ten worthy?

There was only one position on each team that differed. The coaches picked Teniya Page from PSU, while the media chose Wagner. The other nine from each team were identical.

Although I like Carlie better, on the surface there's not much to choose between Page and Wagner. Paige averaged 38.3 minutes in the B1G (Wagner 37.6); Paige average 15.9 p/g (Wagner 19.9); both were good three point and free throw shooters. Page did average 3.9 assists while Carlie had some problems with turnover.

I'm not sure any of these voters are paying enough attention. Those three OSU transfers -- Mavunga, Calhoun, Harper -- will all be eligible this season and they all have the potential to dominate on a team that would have been a handful even without them.
