Glazer and Jared Allen are very tight so that could be where this is coming from, on top of the other conversations he had. If there is no truth to these rumors the Vikes need to get out in front of this now and issue a statement emphatically stating that this will not happen so the team can move on for good. If they let these rumors grow, it basically tells us we're at the same spot we've been all summer.

ESPN says some players are saying it's basically a done deal. One player was quoted as saying he will be with the team by the third preseason game. Childress is an idiot for allowing this circus. I was all for Favre a month ago, but to allow your starting QB to miss training camp and to jerk around the media and your fans like he has makes him a complete moron. He could not have handled this situation any worse.
