Gopher Hoops Weekly is back! Saturday mornings 9am on @1500ESPN. Coach Jim Dutcher will join @Skorzo60 and me at 9:30am.

Flip really wanted the Gopher job, according to Dutcher, but he ultimately had second thoughts working for Norwoody and Ellis. Not really surprising revelations, the writing was on the wall, but Dutcher basically confirms it.

Yeah that was interesting. I was the one saying Flip was too occupied trying to work out the T-Wolves spot.

Dutcher says Flip conferred with him. Said he was all set to take the job, but there were still some minor details to work out. End result was he said he couldn't feel comfortable working for Teague and Ellis.......said they "weren't Mn guys and didn't understand Mn culture."
