Saw on gophersports that Weber attended the Manning passing Camp, he would do well to model himself after Peyton, hopefully he learned a few things about preparation, gameplan, practice, and reading defenses.
That'd be a pretty cool experience for a college QB I would think.

I don't want to start anything, but there was a thought that came into my head immediately when I saw Weber and Marquis standing next to each other at the spring game. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thunk it.

I don't think making porn together would help the team this fall. Maybe if this football thing doesn't work out.

You might want to just go ahead and say what you thought, I'm gonna guess Marquis is physically much more impressive.

When Larry Fitzgerald Jr., Jerry Rice, et al. were on campus a couple of weeks ago, was MarQuies Gray called and asked to come on campus and throw a few passes to the pros?

any quarterback would do well to model themselves after Peyton. For some reason though, and I've never thought about it much, but when I watch Weber I can't help but think of Favre.

Well, we'll see. Once Favre signs with Vikings and Brewster and Childress are buds, Favre just maybe on campus to give one of those infamous Brewster inspirational stunts.

I've watched Weber since HS. There's no doubt he plays like farve. Reckless, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way, Fearless, Tough, and Durable. He doesn't have farve's arm(in it's prime)though few do.

I saw a play in HS were he forced a ball into coverage, it was tipped and intercepted, Weber ran down the player and laid him out on a big sideline hit, helmet off, earpads out.

He was also notorious for throwing blocks on big cutback runs, saw at least one kid he concussed pretty well.

all of this is great for Minnesota HS lore, but I can see that he's been coached to be smarter with his body since starting in 07, and his ball placement last year was definitely intended to cut down on INT's which is something that Farve doesn't do.
