Among Big Ten schools, the Gophers return the highest percentage of points scored from last season. Here is the order and the percentage of points coming back (pending any additional transfers, etc.) with significant personnel losses listed (100+ points scored last year):

1. Minnesota, 88% (lose Abu-Shamala, Busch)
2. Ohio State, 87% (lose Mullens)
3. Michigan, 84% (lose Grady, Lee)
4. Purdue, 83% (lose Calasan, Green)
5. Indiana, 78% (lose Williams, Taber)
6. Northwestern, 76% (lose Moore)
7. Michigan State, 76% (lose Suton, Walton, Gray)
8. Illinois, 67% (lose Meacham, Brock, Frazier)
9. Wisconsin, 66% (lose Landry, Krabbenhoft)
10. Penn State, 53% (lose Cornley, Pringle, Morrissey)
11. Iowa, 47% (lose Kelly, Peterson, Tate, Davis)

Interesting. However, points returning doesn't mean as much if the team was not good to start with. Like Indiana, for example. (By the way, they lost Storey, also).

It can also be a bit misleading, too. For example, although Illinois lost some valuable seniors, they do return their top three scorers. So the other positions are "complementary" scoring roles.

I do expect Minnesota to be tough next year, though.

It has to be rough for Iowa... they lost a lot of their scoring, from what was already a bad team.

Much more hopeful than a year ago when we lost the bulk of our scoring, rebounding, minutes, and leadership.

I think at the end of the season we might be #1 in points incoming. I cant wait to see Williams in the non-conference games.
