Haha - the last thing I need to do is draw more attention to myself! And be sure to thank Chris Monter - he's amazing at putting these together and knowing who everyone is.

I am in no way a local basketball expert, but doesn't this team seem a little short on talent or at least big names when compared to the others? I can honestly say that I don't recognize these guys.

Yeah - I saw that team last night, and didn't recognize a single player.

Apologies to Monter if I'm wrong but these simply appear to be the rosters that you can print off the Howard Pulley website. (He did arrange them in chronological order however.)

Iverson was #12 last night.
Dan Coleman wore #9

There were a lot of players on A&A that didn't fit the roster last night and I don't see them on Monter's list either.

Truth is that Chris nor did I know of the changes A&A made to their roster. We can only share the information we are given and we get 99% of the roster information from the scorebook after the game.

Now, the "free" rosters you find here or anywhere else are really not much more accurate then what I have for fans at the games. Just because I happen to sell them at the games, well why didn't gopherhole admin folks think of doing this before I started a few years ago?

It is mainly because they want to please ONLY the visitors to their site, not promote the site at the games. Not everyone knows about gopherhole just like not everyone knows about the howard pulley website. A great portion does but not all. This also explains why I am selling out of the 100 copies I print for each set of games (Monday Tuesday or Wednesday Thursday).

To those of you that buy my programs -- thank you for helping to compensate for my time and effort.

Actually, every year we end up posting what we know as far as rosters are concerned, with the help of Chris Monter and JohnnyGopher. This year just happened to be a very complete list, very early on, thanks to Monter.

And I can't speak for any other GHers, but when I go to games, I do want to enjoy being a fan, and getting my hoops fix - not selling rosters. As for pleasing the visitors of this site, duh...that's why we have so many visitors, because we all try to provide a community and information to those who visit. If you haven't noticed, it is a public site, and it's free - so everyone is welcome to the information.

In truth, Rene Pulley deserves most of that credit. He has given several folks the list of players that each team manager submitted to him as well as putting it on his website www.howardpulleybasketball.com.
